Running tights are a year-round staple, but a few material differences can change their utility. The Italian-made fabric we found for our Allston Tights delivers a light and supportive bottom that’s ideal for harder sessions when you want coverage but don’t want to overheat. With comfortable and utilitarian details like a high rise waist, soft, wide waistband and three pockets, we think of it as a workhorse tight for shoulder seasons.

Material Difference
We set out to find the perfect fabric for fast, high intensity runs.We found it in an Italian-made blend of nylon and elastane that balances compression and stretch with breathability and speedy drying times. It’s cool to the touch with a silky handfeel and lightweight while still providing full coverage and support. Cut with a high rise, wide waistband, the tights sit comfortably and snugly on the waist and feature a clean 7/8ths finish to land above the ankles, with a bonded sash detail on the back left calf.
Perfect Pocketry
Pockets round out the Allston’s utility. The wide waistband has two separate pockets at the center back: a larger pocket to store your phone and a smaller internal pocket to securely hold a card or fuel. A small drop in pocket at the front right waistband will securely store a key.
All Hail Allston
Among certain circles in Boston, Allston is called the “Flagstaff of the East” for the high number of elites and semi-elites who call the blue collar neighborhood home. We named our newest tights in honor of the community of fast women who live, train and work in the enclave.
