Wednesday Speed Workout - Boston

Join us for our weekly speed session. This week's workout is 3 sets of 4 repetitions of 300 meters, with a 100-meter roll-on jog and 2 minutes of rest between sets. The first set will target 10k pace, the second set at 5k pace, and the final set at 3k to mile pace. Think of this as three sets of 1600 repeats, but with 100-meter roll-on jogs to break things up slightly more. "roll-on" or the cue "fast relax" simply means to ease up from hard running while maintaining a pace faster than a shuffle. It's still part of recovery and should be a sustainable effort. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., then we'll kick off the workout and head to MIT at 6:30 p.m. As always, stick around for post-workout snacks and refreshments at the Trackhouse. These meet-ups are free and open to runners of all abilities. We are asking all runners joining us for the first time to fill out this waiver before arriving.
