And still, we love it – not despite these things, but because of them. This shared passion creates a secret language, a lingua franca that transcends pace or prominence, culture or creed. In our new No Days Off series, we explore the brutal beauty and peaceful energy of running in winter. The sounds and sensations – crunching footsteps, muffled snowfall, frozen puffs of breath – create a distinct environment that amplifies our experiences.
