Yet, the typical marathon grind calls for miles on miles with few opportunities to feel fast. For that reason, we called upon our Tracksmith Community Manager and Brooklyn Track Club Head Coach Steve Finley to write a training plan that finds a balance between race pace and race prep by including milestones to help runners feel fast, reach checkpoints and gain confidence as they put in the work.
