The OTQ Program

With one year left for runners to qualify for the Olympic Trials Marathon in Atlanta, Tracksmith in partnership with linden x two coffee, is launching the OTQ Program to support amateur runners. This program will provide apparel, coffee and support to runners who have achieved the Olympic Trials Qualifying Standard as they prepare to toe the line in Atlanta on February 29th, 2020.

For The Love

The word ‘amateur’ derives from the Latin word for love. And running is really a sport you have to love. You have to love the monotony, the exhaustion, and the pain just as much as (if not more than) you love the thrill of the race or the exaltation of a personal best. This passion is what we call the amateur spirit.

Few runners better embody this spirit than those who pursue the Olympic Trials Qualifying Standard in the marathon without sponsorship while working to support their dream. It’s a grind and one that, ultimately, leaves few tangible rewards. For the majority of the field who will toe the line in Atlanta next year, every step of those 26.2 miles will be for the love.

Tracksmith believes in these runners and their ambitions. As a young brand, we know something about stretching yourself thin in the pursuit of a passion. So we want to do what we can to support amateur athletes in the lead up to the Trials. Together with linden & true coffee, we’re offering any runner with the Olympic Trials Qualifying Standard in the marathon the following support:

A quarterly stipend of $250 towards Tracksmith apparel

A quarterly shipment of fresh beans from linden x two coffee

A complimentary membership to Hare A.C. and team support

How To Apply

To apply, please submit your information below and we will verify your OTQ Marathon time. Runners who achieve the OTQ over the course of 2019 will also be eligible for the program. Runners who enter and redeem the OTQ Program cannot have a conflicting sponsorship and are required to race in Tracksmith.
