Summer At The
Trackhouse

We’re celebrating summer with a host of new programs designed to help runners of all levels find new speed and develop fitness, while also deepening connections with the local community. In addition to our weekly programming on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, we’ll be hosting a new Five Dollar 5K race series and Summer Friday Lunch Runs. Details below.

Five Dollar
5K Series

There’s nothing quite like a 5k on the track. Sure, it’s a lot of laps, but it’s also a prime opportunity to work on pacing and consistency to chase that PR. Each month starting in June, we’ll host a Five Dollar 5K at the MIT Track starting at 6:30pm on Thursday 6/27, 8/1 and 9/5. Each race will include pace groups to help you chase your goals. Join us in the lead up to each 5k for Thursday speed workouts aimed at honing fitness. Runners who race two out of three 5ks are eligible for a $50 PR Bonus - a $50 Tracksmith gift card for those who achieve a new personal best 5k during the series.

Summer Friday
Lunch Run

We’re celebrating summer Friday’s with a social lunch run on the river. Join the Tracksmith Team every Friday starting June 14 at 12:30pm for the 4 mile Musuem of Science Loop on the Esplanade. Runners are invited to drop a bag at Tracksmith or meet us along the route. Roofdeck beers to follow at the Trackhouse if you’re taking the afternoon.
