Brave The Bluster
Made from the same performance stretch fabric as our hardy Bislett Pants, this weather-proof jacket features a high ribbed collar to keep out the wind, reflective piping on the seams for visibility and two zippered pockets for storage. Wear it with a base layer on cool days, or double down with an added mid-layer for more warmth when it’s truly frigid. This light yet protective shell will fend off the elements without weighing you down.
The Eliot Stretch fabric used in the Bislett Jacket features a unique double-weave construction that combines synthetic fibers on the outside and Coolmax fibers on the inside to rapidly move moisture away from the skin. The surface is water-repellent and abrasion resistant with four-way stretch for mobility. There’s a reason we’ve relied on this material for everything from shorts to pants and jackets since 2014.
The roots of some of running’s highest performance fabrics date back to 1849, when German Rudolph Schoeller began manufacturing textiles. In 1868 he moved to Switzerland to open the country's first worsted-yarn spinning mill. Today, Schoeller Textil AG is known world-wide for producing the most innovative fabrics for peak performance. We put the Bislett Jacket to the test on the members of the Jacuzzi Boys Athletic Club in Portland.
