The team at Mission Workshop have been designing mobility packs for over two decades, so when we decided to build our own runner’s rucksack, we knew exactly where to turn. This running-specific, weatherproof pack is made in San Francisco to Mission’s exacting standards, with space for a laptop, a hydration reservoir, spare clothes and groceries. Designed for maximum comfort on the move, it’s the backpack you’ll choose every day of the week, whether you’re running to work on a Wednesday or hitting the trails on Saturday.
Pack & Run
A running pack needs to be comfortable, cavernous and weatherproof, ready to adapt to commuter miles in any conditions or circumstance. A perforated back panel and shoulder straps ensure complete ventilation and moisture management, while adjustable waist and chest straps keep the pack jiggle free at any pace. Equipped with a frame sheet for added structure.
Roll It Up
The main cargo compartment is secured by a roll-top closure which can also be used in the flap-down configuration to provide additional coverage for the front zippers.
The backpack includes a Tracksmith edition of Mission's Spec, a fully-padded 13" laptop sleeve.
The pack is compatible with most hydration reservoirs up to 3 liters, and includes a full zippered hydration pocket for easy access. This is a pack that’s equally at home on city streets as it is on weekend escapes out on the trails.
Equipped with a frame sheet for added structure, the pack is secured by adjustable, padded straps at the chest and waist to help reduce bouncing on the go.
More than 20 years ago, Mark Falvai and Bart Kyzar set up Mission Workshop in San Francisco, with the desire to build gear as tough as it is beautiful. The first bag launched at Mission Workshop was an expanding pack called the Vandal. The team designs each new bag by hand, cutting the patterns and sewing every prototype to perfection before passing along to their small U.S. factory for production runs.
The Run Commute Collection
Commuting on foot is a time-efficient, healthy and inexpensive way to get where you need to be. It’s also never been so essential. This season we introduce the Run Commute Collection, featuring product for active transport made from Merino wool. Mother Nature’s performance fabric is the ideal material: it's breathable and wicking, with a sophisticated feel that won’t look out of place if you stop for coffee. It also dries in a flash and won’t retain odors for the run home. Tested on the roads of London and New York by commuters Leon Cerrone, Nichole Loher and Meggie Sullivan.
