Victory Lap

The polo silhouette was once a running staple. We’ve revived it for performance in a stretch velour that combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers to pull moisture from skin with a twill cotton collar and three button placket.

Drirelease® Velour Wicks Moisture
100% Cotton Collar
Three Button Placket

90% Polyester / 10% Tencel Drirelease Velour

Machine Wash Warm with like colors
Tumble Dry Low

Ruben is 6' and wears a size Medium.

Textile Innovation

The fabric we selected for the Team Polo is a highly technical 90% polyester, 10% Tencel drirelease® velour. Breathable, moisture-wicking and soft, this is a polo designed to handle mileage without screaming performance. It’s a fine line, but one we're happy to toe.

Eric is 5'10" and wears a size Small.

Camp Tested

Eric and Ruben put the Team Polo to the test over 5 muggy miles after a rain shower in Craftsbury, VT.

Polo, a History

In the early 20th century it wasn’t uncommon to see runners in collared tees on race day. The style got its start on the polo field in 19th century India, where British soldiers donned long-sleeved cotton shirts with broad collars that were buttoned down to prevent them from flapping on horseback. Over the course of the 20th century the polo was adapted for different sports and became a staple of team athletic kits, emblazoned with a club or university crest. Ours nods to this sporting tradition while dialing up the running performance with drirelease.
