Bell Lap Shorts

Our Allston/Bell Lap products are made from our most compressive fabric and are meant to fit close to the skin. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Measure your waist by wrapping a measuring tape around your “natural waist”, which is traditionally near the belly button and the smallest part of the waist. Measure your hip by wrapping a measuring tape around the hip at the largest part of the hip, taking care to keep the tape even all the way around the hip.

The shortest tights in our collection, the Bell Laps offer a speed-ready silhouette cut from the same compressive and cooling material as our Allston Bra and Tights. The unique construction and fabric structure keep the shorts from riding up and a higher waistband keeps them secure across your hips.

The Bell Lap is made from an Italian blend of 57% nylon and 43% elastane, which ensures a supportive yet comfortable fit that won’t ride up. It’s soft and breathable, with plenty of stretch and quick drying times.

Get A Grip

A short short needs to stay in place. Not only does the waistband sit right at the belly button, but it’s fully bonded in the front for a supportive yet barely there feel. On the legs, we added the same silicone gripper as our Lane Five Short Tights to ensure these will stay put at full speed. The Bell Lap Shorts are designed for shorter races and do not feature a pocket in order to keep the silhouette as streamlined as possible.
