In The Yarn
In order to find the lightest, highest performance material for our singlet, we worked with the team at Schoeller in Switzerland, obsessing down to the yarn level to develop a silky-soft and feather-light nylon/lycra with a unique grid structure that moves moisture away from the skin and up to the surface of the fabric. The bluesign certified material is treated with coldblack to reduce heat absorption and an anti-microbial finish to reduce post-race odors.
Race Tested
138 athletes raced In Atlanta in our new OTQ Singlets, putting the amateur spirit on display on Peachtree Street. Over rolling hills and into a brisk headwind, they fought for every place. Keira D’Amato led the way for our OTQ women, finishing in 15th place – a head of several pros – in 2:34:24. It was a PR for the real estate agent, mother of two and military spouse. Pictured below, Samantha Wingert of Iowa finished 192nd.
