This racing short is built for running hard in hot temperatures. Crafted from our Strata fabric, a Bluesign-certified nylon blend from Schoeller that weighs in at ultra-light 110 grams per square meter and features a unique grid structure that allows for maximum breathability. Add in a swimwear-inspired liner, UPF protection, coldblack and active>silver anti-microbial finishes and you have a short that’s tough to beat.

When we were developing our singlets for the Marathon Trials, we worked with the team at Schoeller to craft one of the most technical fabrics on the market: a silky-soft and feather-light nylon blend with a unique grid structure that rapidly moves moisture away from the skin and prevents any cling. It was an update on our best-selling Strata fabric, and performed so well in Atlanta that we introduced it across the collection for summer.
Liner Notes
Nothing is worse than a bad short liner, especially when it’s hot and sticky. Our Strata Shorts utilize a brief liner made from a featherlight swimwear fabric that’s highly wicking. It delivers a barely-there feel with light compression to prevent bunching.
Three By Three
These 3” inseam shorts feature 3 internal pockets for fuel. Strategically placed for easy access, they are large enough to store up to 2 gels per pocket.
Beat the Heat
The material is treated with UVA and UVB-protection, a coldblack® finish to reduce heat absorption and an active>silver™ anti-microbial finish to reduce odors. Together, the technical properties of Strata help you transition from midsummer base building to peak fall training.
