HEAVEN OR
LAS VEGAS

Started in 2015, The Speed Project is a 340-mile unsanctioned road relay race from the Santa Monica Pier to the Las Vegas Strip. In March 2018, we sent a team of four men and two women to break the course record (36 hours and 20 minutes.) The race also served as the testing ground for our Relay Collection and was photographed from start to finish by Emily Maye.

These photographs will be displayed in a pop-up exhibition 'Heaven or Las Vegas', opening Friday, June 15th at 7:00 am at Ludlow Studios (40 Ludlow Street, New York City) and running for 35 hours and 59 minutes—the time it took the team to complete The Speed Project. Please RSVP for the exhibit via the link below. Stay tuned on social for more details about events.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

Inspired by the spirit of The Speed Project, challenging traditional running while celebrating the purity of competition, as well as the awe-inspiring landscape of the country between Santa Monica and Las Vegas, the 2018 Relay Kits are vibrant, bold, and pure—borrowing the race’s palette of the Pacific’s deep blues, Death Valley’s golden endless desert, and the vivid reds of sunrises and sunsets. The collection includes a men’s and women’s singlets and shorts, Ciele Athletic Joint Adventure LR Cap, and tube and no-show merino socks, all of which were worn by the team throughout the grueling 340-mile race through the Mojave Desert and Death Valley.
