A NEW CADENCE

The completely redesigned Lane Five is a fast and flattering 5” tight. Utilizing our lightweight and luxurious Inverno Blend fabric, the tight feels effortless, stretching and moving to the cadence of your stride without riding up.

BACK TO BASICS

Training isn’t rocket science – get the basics right and you’re most of the way there. The same can be said of running gear. For the Lane Five we set out to create a core basic: an understated yet technical workhorse ready for the rigors of everyday training. After all, it’s easy to make a short tight that looks good when you’re standing still. The key is how it functions while running at full stride and for a long period of time.

ITALIAN FOR TEMPO

Our Inverno Blend from Italy is specially knit with a smooth yet durable face that fends off light precipitation, and a brushed back that provides a barrier between you and the fabric – keeping you cool on days when summer hasn’t quite given in and warm when winter arrives. The micro-nylon and elastane blend also dries quickly, making the Lane Five Tights a go-to short for repeat wear.

BUILDING BLOCKS

The Lane Five Tights include a mesh panel across the back yoke for extra ventilation in an area that doesn’t get much airflow while running. The leg openings include a low-profile silicone gripper to keep the shorts in place. We also included an internal key/credit card pocket, our signature “backstretch” waistband for comfort (and rolling, if desired) and a locker loop for easy hanging between runs.

1 MILE OR 18

In the midst of a 100-mile week in the lead up to the Hartford Marathon, Sam Roecker tested the Lane Five Tights in two different workouts: mile repeats and a two-hour, 18-mile long run. Like Sam, the shorts proved up for the challenge. “They felt fast and light on the repeats and super comfortable during the long run. They didn’t ride up at all.”
