THE RUNNER'S ROUTINE
Built to Last
The Grayboy was one of our original products. Inspired by team-issued cotton tees collected over the years, we worked with a 150-year old textile mill in Massachusetts to reprise the fabric found in these vintage pieces. The result? One of the best athletic cotton tees on the market.
We know what you’re thinking: you can’t run in cotton. And sure, on a hot day that requires a long run, it wouldn’t be a first choice. But when temperatures are mild and you have an easy five miles planned, nothing beats a Grayboy.
It’s breathable, soft, and gets better with every mile (and every wash). Besides, nobody ever fell in love with polyester.
“The majority of the time, when I’m going for an easy run I don’t want to think, ‘Oh I gotta go fast.’ I just want to shut off my brain and go for a stroll. When I wear a cotton t-shirt, it puts me in that mood. You’ve had a good burn and sweat without exhausting yourself out there. I’m not trying to be competitive, just trying to get the day’s work done.”

“Cotton has this understated, old-school grit to it. There’s a lot of overly designed, technical fabrics out there, but cotton is just so straightforward and classic. It’s almost got an underdog feel to it. You embrace the sweat and wear your effort on your sleeve.”
