Re-introducing the Falmouth Shorts, built for hard training or whatever else your day brings. Updated with a 7-inch inseam, the Falmouth is constructed from one of the most technical fabrics in running: a lightweight moisture-wicking, four-way stretch, water-repellent nylon blend, we call Eliot Stretch Light. The result? Shorts that feel fast enough for a workout, yet sophisticated enough to wear into a coffee shop without feeling self-conscious.

When Roger Bannister first broke the four minute mile in 1954 he did so wearing shorts a good deal longer than the racing shorts we see today. While the majesty of his achievement has inspired millions, it was his dignified dress that made us look again at that longer inseam and waistband construction, updating the material to make a staple garment for the modern runner.
The Devil is in the Details
With an elasticated waist and zip fly, the Falmouth Shorts run close but remain flattering. An anti-microbial Polygiene liner and 5-inch inseam create the perfect balance of performance and style – fast enough for racing, long enough to walk into the coffee shop without feeling self-conscious.
Lighten up, Eliot
The Eliot Stretch Light fabric used in the Falmouth Shorts builds on the unparalleled technical success of our Eliot Stretch fabric. Eliot Stretch Light retains all of the stretch and comfort of our longstanding Longfellow Shorts, while removing weight and bulk. The integrity of the fabric remains, so we’re happy to build in all the pocketing you might need for any training situation, from stripped-back track sessions to late fall long runs – two side pockets and one zippered hip pocket have all the bases covered.
True to its intention as a versatile short for everyday wear, the Falmouth features two hand pockets at the hip and a zippered internal pocket for storing valuables on the run.
We asked 2:13 marathoner Mick Iacofano to put the new Falmouths to the test over a 13 mile run on Boulder’s infamous Magnolia Road. He showed us how it’s done, laying down 6 minute miles on Mag's challenging rollers.
